For your entertainment, every night from Monday-Saturday, the property will take you to 1 of Sydney's clubs. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I had a job interview one day and they allowed me to use an empty room to give me privacy, which was greatly appreciated. The facilities are well maintained and clean, especially the kitchen. The location is perfect for accessing transportation. As someone who is 30, I appreciated the more relaxed (vs. party) vibe to the hostel. Weekends got a bit loud but nice and quiet during the week.

Manly Bunkhouse

Manly, Sydney

Each room has a private bathroom, a locker, linen and private rooms also have a fridge and towels are provided. At Manly Bunkhouse you will find a large sunny garden and BBQ facilities and a games room with Foosball. I’ve stayed at a few budget accomodation venues in Manly and this in my pick. The room was spacious, very clean, and had kitchenette facilities including kettle and fridge which was very handy. No aircon but wasn’t too hot even on a 30 degree day Location was great, quiet street and a few mins walk to the beach

Hostels – what are they?

Hostels offer so much more than a cheap place to stay – they're also a fun way to travel and meet like-minded people. Common areas like shared kitchens and game rooms give you the chance to swap tips, tricks, and travel stories with backpackers from all over the world.

Hostels have come a long way since the first youth hostel opened back in 1912. Nowadays there's something for everyone, from budget "crash pads" to 5-star "poshtels." Whether you'd prefer a bed in a shared dorm or your own private room, you'll see that most hostels are cheaper than local hotels – and a lot more fun, too!
