i felt that after two or three days i was getting bored as it appeared that we were doing the same things everyday , lots of shopping malls and resteraunts but apart from that not much really . its better that if your going for a week or ten days to move around and visit different places and islands rather than stay in the one place . It was just OK for me
This location offers everything a traveler might require as they move on from the Manila Airport. If you are heading south to destinations for diving I highly recommend the area (Alabang). Anything you might need or have forgotten can be found at the Supermall, banks with ATM's, good wine shops and restaurants. It's also easy access to the toll road if you are heading south and you are already away from heavy city traffic.
The area around the Azumi Hotel is nice. Alabang Town Center and Filinvest are clean. Outside the immediate area, things start to get a bit sketchy. East of the skyway, the streets and sidewalks are quite dirty. Interesting to walk around if you know where you are going. In my experience, the people are not good at giving directions. They won't tell you to go 3 blocks North, then 2 blocks West. They will just make a motion with their hand in the general direction and say, "over there".
No favorite spots. SM Southmall will do. Mary Grace, Azumi Restaurant, nearby Bellevue Hotel Getting around Muntinlupa annoying traffic day and night. Fun activities: golf, a really fine dining restaurants,
Muntinlupa is home to some big malls like Ayala and Festival malls. If you are looking for some good clothes or shoes to buy, this is the place for you! They offer large shoe sizes as well that are hard to find, like size 13 and above. Food is not a problem on this area as there are a lot of nearby restaurant especially in Westgate. We've checked in at Bellevue and the view of the city is Amazing!
I like the fact that our hotel's very close to Molito Mall and Alabang Town Center. My husband and I are both foodie. Hence it gave us a lot of options where to dine out. Our personal fave is Neil's kitchen.
