The Gainsborough Bath Spa - a YTL Hotel offers five-star accommodations in Bath. It is the only UK hotel with access to naturally heated thermal waters within its Spa Village. Extremely helpful staff. Exceptionally clean rooms and common areas. Beautiful breakfast room and food. Comfortable reading room. Walking distance to the train station, shopping and all the tourist sites. In a quiet side street.
Originating from the 1780s, Henrietta House is a Georgian period townhouse in the heart of Bath. It is a 10 minute walk from Bath Spa train station. Free Wi-Fi is available to all guests. Breakfast was DELICIOUS! The people here were very nice and helpful. What we most loved was the location, it was extremely easy to get to all the sites while being away from the more touristy center. We were in a lower level room so it did not get hot but there was a fan available. There was no AC so if you need that this might not be the place for you.
Opened in December 2016, No.15 Great Pulteney is located just a 3-minute stroll from Pulteney Bridge, Bath Abbey and the Roman Baths. I absolutely love this hotel and would seriously rate it as one of the best I have ever stayed in. The design and decoration is outstanding, creative, beautiful and utterly unique. The rooms are perfectly equipped and have outstanding bathrooms with lovely amenities. The staff is delightful and charming. The Bar served one of the best Aperol Spritz I have ever had and the breakfast is wonderful. The location could not be better. It is literally 4 minutes walk to all attractions and restaurants. I wish there were more hotels like this.
This small boutique hotel located in the center of Bath, just around the corner from the iconic Pulteney Bridge, The Roseate Villa Bath is set within its own gardens and has private off-street car... The staff at this hotel were amazing, they could not have done more to help. The small touches and attention to detail were great, not being rushed or herded on arrival, instead, it was a warm welcome with a complementary mulled wine! The room and breakfast were great and overall we could not fault this hotel.
In a luxury country house set within 4 acres of beautiful grounds, The Bath Priory Hotel features a luxury spa and celebrated restaurant. The hotel is located less than 2 miles from Bath Abbey. Beautiful hotel with two wonderful restaurants and the most obliging staff. The best.

We were only here one night. Flew into Heathrow, and took the train to Bath to avoid having to drive in London. This worked perfectly - good train connections to Bath. Wish we had more time there; lots of history to see.
A lovely city and easy to walk around. We'd been before, so we skipped the tourist sites this time and concentrated on food, drink, and shopping - all of which are great. Restaurants aren't cheap if you think of them in terms of the conversion to a North American currency, but they are on par with the rest of the UK and Europe. One day, we took the 15-minute train trip to Bradford-on-Avon and felt like we had walked onto the set of Midsomer Murders, complete with the Green Man Festival, a typical village fete with tombola, Morris dancing, and home baking. Recommendations for dining: Victoria Pub & Kitchen, for an outstanding "Sunday roast dinner", the Dark Horse for an incredible cheese board and amazing whisky selection with a very knowledgable whisky advisor, and Swoon for the best gelato anywhere (even better than I had in Italy, as scandalous as that sounds).
Bath is a place I could have enjoyed longer. After viewing the historical sites, we noticed the current baths are active, too. The food is good and the atmosphere lively. We walked from our hotel to all the sights easily...the Royal Hotel is lovely.
We took the train from Gatwick Airport and a taxi to our Villa. After that, we walked everywhere. We took the FREE guided city tour that leaves every morning at 10 am from the front of the Baths. This was 1.5 hours long and was a great introduction to the city and its history. Our guide pointed out places we would never have noticed on our own. We then went back to several of those places for further study. Because it rains in Bath, and it does rain, we went to the Assembly Rooms and Costume Institute Exhibits during the inclement weather. We walked the gardens and Old Town during the non rainy days. It was easy to find things to do that suited the weather.
Beautiful old limestone buildings, lush green countryside and parks. Would recommend the hop on off bus, price includes tour of city and then a second countryside tour. Loved going to Bath Abbey afternoon, weekday service and hearing the choir. Organ recitals also open to public, schedule of events posted outside Abbey. We stayed 2 nights in Bath, I would of liked another day!
Roman baths - bigger than it looks and very interesting. Crowded though! Lovely architecture and parks - nice atmosphere in the evenings. Open top bus tour well worth paying for. Ate at Graze near thestation - nice food and service and good atmosphere.

The hotel was in a peaceful location yet only 5 minutes from Bath city centre. The rooms all had a small fridge which is an excellent idea in this hot weather to keep drinks and food cold. Rooms were of good size with a comfortable bed and was extremely clean. The spa was excellent and the staff couldn't do enough to help. I would say that all staff were polite and helpful at all times. Breakfast was lovely. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Good location, just a short walk into the centre of bath. Parking permit for the road was provided as we couldn’t quite fit in the car park, which was really handy. The breakfast included was really delicious and great value. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was also lovely, right at the top of the hotel with big velux windows.

The staff on the front desk were delightful and very helpful with directions into the main city centre. The room was beautiful, cosy and inviting. I loved the decor and consistent theme throughout the hotel. If in Bath again I will most certainly be staying here. The bathroom and bedding was extremely clean-not a speck of dust. Overall, wonderful!!!!

As a solo traveler I loved this hotel. I particularly appreciated how friendly the staff was! They were all quick to help me with any inquiries I had. Bath is such a lovely place to visit. My stay was short, but it was made even better by the hotel staff, the location, friendly people in town and amazing food. I'd stay here again.

Good inexpensive base for a tourist visit to Bath. It’s very basic accommodation & isn’t a hotel but the bed was comfy, there were en-suite facilities and the breakfast included was excellent. Bus travel into the city centre was frequent, easy & good value. There was also free secure parking for our motorcycle.

We loved the location hidden in the forest and space to wander around, quiet spot to relax and unwind. The bedroom had all the facilities expected; a king size bed and a fan to keep the room cool. We love the main building and its decoration, it's really beautiful! The food was amazing and provides gluten free and dairy free. The staff were very well trained and respectful, useful and friendly.
